where are they now?
If you haven't heard.. some of your favorite artists from the 80's are doing pretty well these days.. in and out of the music business.. like whitney houston, tina turner, michael jackson, etc.. well.. guess who else is back.. THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK! this is what they're up to:
joey recently joey has been in the broadway show "tick, tick boom!" wanna hear lez's commentary on it? it was AMAZING, it was so good, but the only regrets i have are that i was in the front row, and man o man.. does he spit when he sings. geeeeezzzzzz.. but ill tell you, i love broadway and ali loves new kids on the block.. and joey was amazing in both! kinda cute too (smooch). there are only three people in the whole show.. and they all play multiple characters, and it was so funny! i was lying on the beach in jamaica, listening to the soundtrack (along with other soundtracks that we wont mention bc lez is a loser.. haha).. but really, the girl in my show was amazing--she was the lady from the reaaaaalllllyyyy nasty show on HBO, OZ (about people getting raped in jail and murderers plotting their secretly scary plans to strangle ppl in their sleep--my brother loves it), and the second lead was good too (i actually saw the understudy.) enough babble, GO SEE TICK TICK BOOM!(if its off, sorry you missed it--get it on tape some day) ..now you can watch him as colin flynn on "boston public" on FOX. also, he was on one season of mtv's "say what karaoke" as the host in las vegas..(go funky suits! :-D and the weirdo singers..) also, before that, he was in a musical movie called "the fantasticks". then he had 3 solo albums, "stay the same" in 1999, "meet joe mac" in 2002, and a live album called, "one too many". ..this is now jordan
joey's old bandmate jordan knight isn't doing as well as ol' Joe here. He had a single, "give it to you".. it did pretty well, but then he kinda dissapeared. has anyone seen Jordan??? lets see what he's up to..hmm.. had one single.. he must be bustin money out of HIS pockets..he's workin on a second album. GO JORDIE.

don don don.. (no, not dana, we LOVE YOU DON!) don seems to have given up on singing for a while.. and now hes a BOOMER! he stars as Detective Stevens on Boomtown (which is a show on NBC) and also was Carwood Lipton on the hit HBO series, Band of Brothers, he was in the hit moive, The Sixth Sense (totally freaked lez out, plus.. didn't really understand it until about the third freaken time..) he was Vincent Grey. enough about don don.. onto Jonathan. ..this is now jonathan
jon (as his loyal fans called him.. ;-)) doesn't sing anymore. Now he is a real estate agent away from the spotlight. but maybe you caught him on a recent episode of "Oprah" in an episode about panick attacks. He talked about his stage fright that he discovered while he was at the height of his fame in New Kids on the Block, a little late to find that out.. poor jon.. :(

he's in a new movie called, "tequilla express"(lez hopes he's not really drinkin' those.. but we do like the song "TEQUILLA!"), he had an album, which was NOTHING like new kids music.. so all you new kids fans.. please don't get your hopes up.. NO POP MUSIC HERE!.. ali had it.. because she was a little obsessed with the new kids.. it scared her half to death.. -you have been warned- and he's trying to make a new album.. with no success.. not out yet.
